GS1 Singapore Limited is part of an international, neutral, not-for-profit organisation based in Brussels, Belgium with 115 member organisations worldwide, serving more than 150 markets. GS1 Singapore was established in 1987 to implement and administer the global multi-industry GS1 standards-based system of automatic identification (using barcodes, 2D-codes and RFID – radio frequency identification) and communication for products, services, assets, documents and locations. GS1 Singapore facilitates collaboration amongst trading partners, organisations and technology providers, to solve business challenges that leverage standards and to ensure visibility along the entire supply chain. Today, GS1 Standards are the most widely used open standards in the world for supply chain management and are widely adopted in multi-sectors including Retail, Food, Healthcare, Transport and Logistics, Manufacturing, Technical Industries and more.

Exceedra’s software solutions work with GS1 standards in a number of different ways with our clients, who are typically manufacturers with SKUs sold in grocery, pharmacy and traditional provision retail channels in Singapore, including API information transfers with our Salesforce Automation (SFA) and Trade Promotion Management (TPM) solutions, and master data transfer between ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle.
